Prerequisites

  1. Veeva Admin account with Vault Owner Security Profile and Password kind of Authentication Type.

How to create Reco-User for the integration?

  1. Login to Veeva with Domain Admin user.

  2. Press on the Tab Collections and pick Admin


    ​

  3. Go to Settings Tab


    ​

  4. Under Domain Settings on the left go to Security Policies and make sure you have at least one policy with Password Authentication Type , create new one or change the Basic so it will fit for your policy.

  5. Go to Users & Groups tab and press + Create

  6. Fill up the user details:

    1. Domain User - Create Domain User with user name Reco.

    2. General Info - fill in the mandatory fields


      ​

    3. Details - pick the Vault Owner in the Security Profile, the Password kind of Security Policy as mentioned in step 4 and mark the Domain Admin.


      ​

    4. Press Save in the right upper side of the screen.

    5. Go to your mail and activate the new user (create initial password for the user).

Integrate Veeva with Reco

  1. Fill in the integration form:

    1. Vault subdomain - as shown in the example, https://{your-domain}.veevavault.com (your-domain can be found under VeevaLogin -> Admin -> Settings -> DomainName)

    2. Your username, please note that you must be a Vault Owner in order to have access to all apis.

    3. Your password.

  2. Press Test to validate your credentials details.

  3. Press Connect !
