Prerequisites

Reco requires Client ID, Client Secret and Company Domain (<company domain>.jamfcloud.com) generated by Jamf for your account.

Create Jamf API Client

  1. Go to your Jamf dashboard and select Settings and search for API roles and clients
    ​

  2. In API Roles create new role with the following privileges: Read Computers, Read User, Read Accounts, Read Static User Groups, Read Smart User Groups, Read Mobile Devices
    ​

  3. Go to API Clients and create new client with the roles created in the previous step, for the Access Token Lifetime use 3600 and enable API Client
    ​

  4. Save the client and Generate client secret
    ​

  5. Copy the client ID and the Client Secret

Integration with Reco

In the Jamf integration pop-up screen in Reco fill in the Client ID, Client Secret and Company Domain of the API client you have created above.
