Create a user with the needed roles

  1. In HCM console, choose Tools->Security Console

  2. In the Users page, click Add User Account

    1. Choose Last Name + User Name (e.g. "RecoApp") and Password.

    2. Add roles to allow extracting Users & Audit data

      1. IT Security Manager (ORA_FND_IT_SECURITY_MANAGER_JOB)

      2. Audit Access for Cloud Access Security Broker (ORA_FND_CASB_AUDIT_ACCESS_DISCRETIONARY_DISCRETIONARY..)

    3. Check Enable Administration Access for Sign In-Sign Out Audit REST API

    4. Click Save and Close

Enable Security Auditing

  1. Under Settings and Actions (top right corner), choose Setup and Maintenance

  2. Search for Manage Audit Policies and click it

  3. For Oracle Platform Security Services choose Audit level of Low.

Get the instance URL

The instance URL is the base URL of your HCM website, e.g. ecas.fa.em3.oraclecloud.com (without https://).

Enter the Instance URL & user credentials in Reco’s intergation screen.
