Prerequisites

  1. The ZenDesk user performing the integration must be an admin

  2. A Reco user with Admin Role

Configure ZenDesk

Generate your Zendesk API key

  1. Login to ZenDesk

  2. Click the icon next to your profile avatar in the upper right and select Admin Center from the dropdown menu

2. Expand Apps and integrations dropdown in the left menu and click on Zendesk API

3. Make sure that token access is enabled, and click on Add API token

4. Copy and set aside the API key and then click Save

Integrate ZenDesk with Reco

  1. Login to the Reco Platform

  2. Click on "Configurations" then click on "Integrations"

  3. Locate the "ZenDesk" object and click on Add Integration

  4. Click on "Allow"

  5. Enter the API key you previously copied

  6. Enter the email address that you use to log into your Zendesk account

  7. Enter your ZenDesk URL (an example: for companyname.zendesk.com the subdomain is companyname)

What do we ingest exactly?

  • Audit Logs only, metadata only
