How to add Box Data Source

Reco integration with Box a cloud-based file-sharing and storage platform. This integration allows Reco to detect malicious activities and misconfigurations within Box files and folders, and provides the ability to remediate these findings directly within the Box platform.

Prerequisites

  1. The user performing the integration must have one of these admin privileges:

    1. Admin - principal account administrator of Box

    2. Co-Admin - Co-admins can perform the same duties as the Admin user, but they cannot make changes to permissions of the Admin or other Co-admins.

  2. Your Box account plan must be either Business Plus or Enterprise

  3. A Reco user with Admin Role

Integrate Box with Reco

  1. Login to the Reco Platform

  2. Click on "Configurations" then click on "Integrations"

  3. Locate the "Box" object and click on Add Integration

  4. You will then be redirected to Box consent page, click on "Grant access to Box"

  5. If the integration was successful, the Box Integration status will become "Active"
