Sign in to Blackline as System Administrator

Navigate to System -> Users -> Users Admin Grid

Click the pencil icon to edit the user to whom API access is to be granted

Check API Access checkbox and User management checkbox. In example below, API Access and Task are checked.

Navigate to User Details, generate an API key and put it aside

Select your region and fill in client id, client secret, application username, API key and scope values

Click on "Connect" to finish connection process
